So, you want to join the RCEC. Awesome! Cool? I have no clue, I don't want to sound patronizing but truth is I was just like you, I being me Wonder. I created this company for one- no two- no, let us just say a few reasons. Main one being that entertainment in North America, especially for Magicians, was never centralized organized, or honestly explained. So as a beginner you often are left on your own to fend for yourself. Lame. Our industry and art is indeed a business and When I came across companies in South Korea like High Magic Entertainment and Superhuman Magic Entertainment which are the inspirations and fathers of this idea, I knew what I had to do.

So, how do you join this company of entertainers? Easy, shoot an email to ChrisWonderMagic@gmail.com (my personal email) with the subject 'RCEC Application' I, and the other artists, will review your submission and see if you meet our standards.

What are our standards though? Well ignore the company jargon, ethics, and squibble squabble, the honest truth is much simpler, be:
1. Entertaining | we are in the entertainment industry and I have been around enough peers to know this is not always the first priority of artists.

2. Be unique | one thing that sets the RCEC apart from the South Koreans is that we pride ourselves on having VERY different acts per artist. I got sick of seeing the same umbrella production act and linking rings routine over and over again, so please still do those tricks and routines but make them yours.

3. Be honest | I founded the RCEC with the intention of being in all aspects of entertainment not just kid friendly or adult only content, so if you want to be a mature performer then be that, if you only want to perform for the awesome and excited kids then do that! But please do not sell yourself as something you are not passionate about. The RCEC is meant to house the best of the best, and the best are the best at what they are passionate about, I mean hell, why do you think fast food workers look so dead inside, they rarely are passionate (and who could blame them)!

4. Submit and get rejected and submit again- repeatedly! | The biggest part of this industry is knowing that no often means 'not a good fit at present' which means your act either is not unique enough at the time you submitted (people move on you might just get in because you fill someone elses shoes and yet are still different) OR upon review we do not believe you have reached your path to being the best, in that case go volunteer (I have) and get performance experience; test your act out, refine it, and after a couple months submit the even more polished version again.

Ultimately please remember, this is a human run company, I have NEVER and will NEVER consider using AI for any reason, your submission will have a human pair of eyes and a brain look and examine it, so help me God if AI or any external force erases it for I will be very angry, you as an artist deserve an equal opportunity, and only a person can give you that.

Thanks for reading all that spiel, I am sure it is not as professional or refined as it could be, but it is how I am, and that is my last tip, be personable, connecting with your audience is the biggest difference between a magician and any other performance art, we get to connect with our audiences on the deepest level, the soul of belief. Never forget you make them smile, sit in suspense, and leave them wondering how.

Thank you, I hope you have a wonderful day, cheers,
-Prince Wonder
